Why is anything symmetrical perceived as beautiful, either aesthetically or conceptually.
Does symmetry have an absolute value.
Symmetry is a safeguard against decay. It produces the illusion of balance.
We choose counterparts with which we form symmetry. We apply it as a universal world order. And if that is the case then it can’t be that life is either only a matter of suffering, or only a mere ecstasy. With this assumption we proceed. It shapes our expectations, choices, and interpretations.
