The theme of the exhibition is the fracture of structure; a tacit historical world view hemorrhaging when faced with change.

The slipping of logic, the end of faith, and the cancelling of knowledge cause crisis, disappointment, and suffering. In this moment, it becomes necessary to ask what is the relationship between the self and faith, between knowledge and a worldview? Is each the same in being? This is a crisis of the self and coherence.
Without structure, we cannot be. What is it to be after reassembly – an extension of the old or a new difference?

In my work as an artist I have worked in the medium of pencil drawing and plywood for a long time. In my new works I endeavoured to move drawing towards three-dimensionality and installation. In addition to form, three-dimensionality introduces a different temporality in terms of substance.
However, the line remains at the centre of everything. It is a meditative entity that forms, is formed, disappears and reappears.
